나는  깊고 고요한 곳, 심연에서 태어났습니다.

매몰찬 장대비에도 꺾이지 않고 한 여름의 사나운 열기를 이겨내어 기어코 탐스럽고 윤기나는 꽃을 피웠습니다.

나는 생각했습니다.

가장 밀도 높은 땅을 뚫고 생명을 틔운 힘의 근원은 무엇이었을까?

그건 심연에서 나를 돌본 시간에서 비롯된 것이 아닐까?
그 지루하고 긴 시간을 지나서야 깨달은 평온함 때문 아닐까?

본연의 자아, 나의 몸과 마음을 돌보는 일. 

사유의 씨앗, 연자는 그 여정에 동행합니다.

I was born in a deep and serene place: the abyss.

Despite the torrential rain, I endured without bending, conquering the scorching heat of summer, blooming the alluring and glistening flowers.

I pondered.

What was the source of the power that pierced through the densest land and brought forth life?

Could it have originated when I fostered myself in the abyss?

Could it be because of the tranquility I realized only after passing through that tedious time?

Nurturing my mind and body is returning to my authentic self.
